Obituary for Jerry Hamann
Jerry L. Hamann, 52, of Peoria passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017 at his residence. He was born July 31, 1964 in Peoria to Gerald E. and Norma Didiuk Hamann. His father; sister, Trina Hamann and grandparents preceded him in death. He is survived by his mother; daughter, Jessica Hamann, Rhiannon Hamann; grandchildren, Hunter Whitney, Carson Whitney; sisters, Angela (Robert) Adams, Trisha Wilson; nieces, Kayla (Andy) Hanning, Kelsi Miller; nephews, Kaleb Miller, Kayle Miller, Reese Wilson, Timothy Schmidgall, Jr.; longtime friend, James Thornhill; beloved pet, Midnight and longtime friend and caregiver, Ronda Bryant. Jerry worked for the Nestle Factory in Bloomington. He was a big Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, soccer and baseball fan. Per his wishes cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at Vets Pizza and Pub 2525 N.E. Adams Street in Peoria on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Burial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to St. Jude in his name.
