Obituary for Joyce Knaggs
Joyce Knaggs, 83, of Peoria formerly of Pekin passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria. She was born December 25, 1934 in Peoria to Floyd and Deloris McCoulagh Tribbett. Her parents; daughter, Barbara; son, Pete; sisters, Helen Sours, Betty Lou Tribbett; brothers, Lloyd Tribbett, Jerry Tribbett and late husband, Ed Knaggs all preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Risius; son, Jamesdean Corp; step-daughter, Tracey (Mike) Fahnestock; grandchildren, Ricky Rapp, Jamesdean Corp Jr., Troy Thompson, Tracy Thompson, Danny Corwin, Billy Corwin, Jenny Corwin; step-granddaughter, Megan Fahnestock; great-grandchildren, Harmony, Haven, Rhue, Michael, Cassandra, Danny Jr., Sarah, Heather; brother, Floyd Tribbett and sisters, Jean Harms, Nonnie Tribbett and Sherry Tribbett. Joyce was a very kind and loving lady who cared for and loved her handicapped daughter, Brenda. She also loved her family, Tom Kitty her cat, stuffed animals and her jewelry. She enjoyed wordsearch, black & white movies and sewing. She will be greatly missed. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Abts Mortuary in Pekin at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
