Obituary for Alan Lowery
Alan R. Lowery, 60, of Pekin passed away Tuesday March 20, 2012 at his residence. He was born September 8, 1951 in Chattanooga, TN to Paul G. and M. Marie Turner Lowery. He married Barbara Thompson December 7, 2003 in Yuma County, AZ. She survives along with his mother, M. Marie Lowery of Pekin; son, Paul (Brook) Lowery of Mississippi; daughter, Chastity of Peoria; step-grandchildren, Abigale and Kian Bennett; brothers, Paul Lowery of Tremont, David Lowery of Pekin and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Glenda Faye Lowery. Alan served in the U.S. Army. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. Cremation has been accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held Monday March 26, 2012 at Abts Mortuary in Pekin from Noon to 2 p.m.
