Obituary for Amy Worlow
Amy L. Worlow, 43, of Pekin passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria. She was born March 3, 1974 in Pekin to William C. and Diana G. Johnson Weichel. She is survived by her son, Jackson L. Worlow; parents; brother, Bill (Niki) Weichel; sister, Melinda Weichel; nieces and nephew, Kaitlynn, Alyssa, Joshua; grandmother, Carol Johnson and special friend, Rick Mason. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Leona Weichel, grandfather, Henry Johnson and cousin, Andy Gardner. Amy graduated from Pekin Community High School in 1992 and ICC. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin and worked at Bellevue Tap. She was a diehard Chicago Cubs and Bears fan and enjoyed hiking. She had a big heart and was loving and devoted to her son, family and friends. Amy will be greatly missed. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 30, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Abts Mortuary in Pekin. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home; burial will follow the service at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jackson L. Worlow education fund c/o Busey Bank.
