Obituary for Archie Denham
Archie Denham Sr., 107, of Peoria, IL passed away Sunday October 7, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, IL. He was born October 22, 1904 to Jeff and Zeola Denham in Newton, MS. He married Jacqueline Mitchell and later married Elizabeth Jane Riley November 21, 1961 and she preceded him in death January 20, 2000. He was also preceded in death by his parents; son, Archie Denham Jr. in 2007; four brothers and one sister. He is survived by his children, Arthur (Helen) Denham of Riverdale, IL, Damon (Andrea) Denham of Chicago, IL, Marilyn (fiancé, Richard Herrod, Sr.) Denham of Peoria, IL; grandchildren, Russel Denham, Jacqueline Denham, Damon Denham Jr.; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Archie worked as a machinist and delivery driver for all the major meat packing plants and steel mills in Chicago. He last worked for Playskool in Chicago. A memorial service will be held Saturday October 27, 2012 at the Anointed Life Deliverance Center 717 W. Garfield Blvd. in Chicago, IL at 1 p.m.
