Obituary for Arthur Comer
Arthur F. Comer, 60, of Peoria passed away Monday, December 2, 2013 at Heartland Health Care Center in Peoria. He was born March 19, 1953 in Peoria to Gilbert and Helen Dobbins Comer. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles. He is survived by his sons, Artez Comer of San Diego, CA, DeMarko Comer of Peoria; daughter, Andrea (Keith) Bailey of Phoenix, AZ; four grandchildren; sisters, Ella Comer of Atlanta, GA, Shiela Comer of Virginia; brothers, Chauncey Haywood of East Peoria, Marcus Comer of Peoria, Gilbert Comer of Peoria and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Arthur served in the U.S. Navy and worked for Caterpillar and was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church in Peoria. Cremation has been accorded and per his wishes no services will be held.
