Obituary for Arthur Wheeler
Arthur L. Wheeler 86, of Brimfield passed away Monday October 4, 2010 at his residence. He was born May 12, 1924 to Arthur and Phoebe Florin Wheeler in Fulton County, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother and 3 sisters. He is survived by his 5 children; Vera Mae Wheeler of Creve Coeur, Robyn Wheeler of Peoria, Patricia Madison of Brimfield, Edna Bedwell of South Pekin, and Arthur D. Wheeler of Glasford. He is also survived by his sister; Mary Ellen Dobbs of Creve Coeur, 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Arthur was a welder for American Allied Freight Car Inc. in Peoria. He enjoyed gardening, farming and antique tractors. He very much loved his dog “Boo” and he was a pet lover. Cremation has been accorded and no services will be held. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
