Obituary for Augustine (Bud) Waremburg
Augustine E. “Bud” Waremburg 68, of Pekin, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2012, at his residence. He was born March 24, 1943, in Pekin to Frank and Margaret Waremburg. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Bobby, Frank, and Dick Waremburg. Bud is survived and greatly missed by his children, Russell “Rusty” (Cindy) Waremburg of Pekin, Terry Waremburg of Pekin, and Kellie Waremburg of Lincoln, as well as eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Margaret Dunker of Manito, JoAnne Havens of Pekin, and Kathy Forbis of Pekin. He worked for Caterpillar in East Peoria, retiring in 1999 after 36 years of service. A celebration of life was held by his family to honor his memory. Bud was a wonderful man who loved his family very much and always put them first. Cremation was accorded. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
