Obituary for Barbara Ann Wikowsky Lane
Barbara Ann Wikowsky Lane of Pekin passed away at her home on February 27, 2009 where her daughter and son-in-law Becky and Al Forbes were by her side at her time of death. She was born on August 27, 1928 in Normal, she was 80 yrs old. She has 1 brother William Wikowsky of Bloomington, 4 loving grandchildren, John Miller of Pekin, Donna Miller of East Peoria, Deedee Gardner of San Jose and Amber Horchem of Saybrook. She also leaves behind several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her husband, parents, 1 son and 1 grandson preceded her in death. She worked at St. Francis Hospital as a LPN for many years and Belwood Nursing Home. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin. Cremation has been accorded and private services will be held. Abts Mortuary has been entrusted with the cremation arrangements.
