Obituary for Barbara Case
Barbara Jean Case, 55, of Peoria passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at her residence.
Barbara was born June 27, 1961 in Peoria to Gary and Norma Aune Case. She married David H. Roth on September 14, 1985 in Peoria, he survives. Also surviving are her beloved son Casey Roth of Peoria. Her stepmother Mary Case of Elmwood, one brother Jon (Laura) Case of Marquette Heights. One niece, Kayla Case, one nephew Kyle Case, and one great niece Mae Case, all of East Peoria. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Keith (Patrice) Case and one infant sister Katherine.
Barb loved to spend time with her son Casey and home-schooled him through high school. Casey was the joy of her life. Barb's smile could light up a room and her hugs stopped the world for a minute. Barb's interests were many involving her culinary skills, passion for dogs, photography, and gardening. Barb touched countless lives over the years with her genuine kindness. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Cremation has been accorded, a celebration of Barb's life will be held Friday, June 2nd from 6-8:30PM at Embassy Suites in East Peoria.
Memorials can be made to the Australian Cattle Dog Rescue of Illinois and The ARK in Lacon.
