Obituary for Barbara J. Zahn
Barbara J. Zahn, 58, of Pekin passed away Monday, May 25, 2015 at her residence. She was born February 28, 1957 in Paris, France to Leslie and Frances McManemy Zahn. She is survived by her Mother of Pekin, son Joseph (Sarah) Martin, daughter Cecily (Dave) Meadows, grandchildren: Joey Martin, Leah Martin, Harlow Meadows and Preston Meadows all of Morris, sisters: Linda (Russ) Constable of Las Vegas, Pat (Tom) Brown of Pekin and Ruth Clasing of Peoria. Her father and brother Charles preceded her in death. Barbara loved gardening, making candles and spending time with her grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 12 noon with visitation from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin. Father Michael Andrejek will officiate. Burial will follow the service at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin.
