Obituary for Betty Jane Carrigan
Betty Jane Carrigan 79, of Canton passed away on Tuesday March 30, 2010 at her residence. Born in Abingdon, IL on April 26, 1930 to Seaborn and Edith Casler Sheets. She married Joseph Wade Carrigan in Wilmar, CA on April 23, 1949, he preceded her in death on May 2, 1994. Her parents, 1 brother, 2 sisters and a grandson also preceded her in death. She is survived by her children: Edith (Stephen) Goldring, Viola Carrigan, Juanita (Randy) Snell and Fred Carrigan all of Canton, Paul (Clara) Carrigan of Macomb, Betty Carrigan of Salt Lake City, UT and Geneva (Thomas) Roberts of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, brother Walter Sheets of Las Vegas, NV, sisters: Viola (Herschel) DuBois of Middlegrove, Caroline Jones of Kewanee and Sharon Stell of Mesa, AZ. She also leaves behind her 21 grand, 24 great grand and 2 great great grandchildren. Mom is the never ending song in our hearts of comfort, happiness and love. Cremation has been accorded and a Celebration of life will be held on Saturday April 3, from 1 to 3 p.m. at 45 Winegar Dr. Canton.
