Obituary for Beverly Earle Williamson
Beverly Earle Williamson 86, of Peoria passed away on Saturday June 27, 2009 at Manor Court Nursing Home in Peoria. Born in New Troy, MI to Benjamin and Clarice Pletcher Draper on September 23, 1922. She married Douglas Robert Williamson in Davenport, IA on August 28, 1942, he preceded her in death on June 27, 1993. She is survived by her children; Michael (Jean) Williamson of Belleaire, FL, Nile (Jeanne) Williamson and Susan Harvel both of Peoria, John (Sally) Williamson of Denver, CO, sister Carol Corry of Bellevue, WA, brother Alan (Paula) Draper of Delmar, IA, grandchildren; Michael Williamson of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Jeffrey Williamson of Belleaire, FL, Sarah Williamson of Arlington, VA, Ashley Williamson of Nashville, TN, Jason Williamson of Denver, CO, Jessica Garcia of Lincoln NE, Meghan (Josh) Knight of Washington, Lauren Harvel of Peoria and her great grandchildren; Brittany Williamson and Tess Williamson both of Denver, CO. Beverly was a Homemaker and loved to cook and bake. Her children looked foreword to coming home from school to see what was in the oven that day. She was truly a master of that art. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Davenport, IA and was a mother’s mother, who will be forever in her family’s hearts. Cremation has been accorded and memorials may be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. Pekin/Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements.
