Obituary for Bill Clark
Bill R. Clark, 61, of Peoria passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born June 22, 1951 in Washington, D.C. to Lauren and Shirley Weinstein Clark. He married Rebecca “Beckie” K. Cooley April 18, 1982 in Pekin. She survives along with his father, Lauren (Linda) Clark of Nephi, UT; children, Kindra (Roy) Dellaripa of Utah, Byron Beck of Utah, Amanda (Sylvester) Evans of Peoria, Aaron (Desiree) Beck of Utah, Rachel (Randy) Morrow of Pekin; grandchildren, Braden, Bryson, Kimberly, Dustin, Matt, Alicia, Jessica, Brierly, Cruz, Allison; sisters, Shirley Ann Clark of Utah, Julie (Tim) Murphy of New York; brothers, Lauren (Nicole) Clark of Utah, Warren (Kendra) Clark of Utah, Kimn Piep of Utah, Kyle Piep of Utah, Kris Piep of Utah, Kory (Imelda) Piep of Utah; sister-in-law, Debbie Cooley of Florida; brother-in-law, Ron (Linda) Cooley of IL and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his grandpuppies Gloria and Bella. He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, Karl Piep. Bill worked for the Illinois Secretary of States office as a Program Compliance Specialist for 12 ½ years. He was a member of Pekin First Church of the Nazarene, where he was in choir and involved with Encounter. He loved watching his grandchildren and riding his Harley. He enjoyed NASCAR, football and cooking. He was a former Trustee of Groveland Township. Bill was an organ donor. Funeral services will be held on Friday March 22, at the First Church of the Nazarene, 3514 E. Broadway, Pekin, IL 61554 at 11 a.m. Rev. Floyd Brock will officiate. Visitation will be held at Abts Mortuary in Pekin on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. and from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church on Friday. Cremation will be accorded following the services. Memorials may be made to his church or the American Diabetes Association.
