Obituary for Billie Gene Rodden
Billie Gene Rodden 80, of 245 S. 1st Ave Canton passed away on Monday July 14, 2008 at Graham Hospital in Canton. Born in Murphysboro, IL on November 22, 1927 to Walter and Pearl Reiman Rodden. He married Florence “Elizabeth” Spangler in Peoria on September 1, 1950, she survives along with his children; Gary (Tina) Rodden of O’lathe, KS, Karla Rodden and Marla Redden both of Canton and his 9 grand and 2 great grandchildren. His parents and infant daughter Carol Diane preceded him in death. Billie served in the Navy and worked as a Supervisor at the Cilco Power Plant, retiring in 1988. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Canton where memorials may be made in his name. Cremation has been accorded and no services will be held. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. Pekin/Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements.
