Obituary for Caroline S. Elliott
Caroline S. Elliott, 79, of Peoria Illinois, passed away on May 14th, 2017. Caroline was born in Rochester Illinois to Oscar and Virla (Welch) Hatfield on November 18th, 1938. She graduated from Rochester High School. Caroline married popular Central Illinois radio personality Don Elliott on July 22nd, 1965 in Springfield Illinois. She owned and ran a daycare for around 10 years where she loved and cared for countless children. She then worked for Bergners as a Clinique representative in the cosmetics department until her retirement. After the passing of her first husband, she went on to marry Dennis Campbell. Caroline was a Christian and was actively involved in human and civil rights. Caroline is preceded in death by her first husband Don Elliott, second husband Dennis Campbell, parents Oscar and Virla Hatfield, siblings Jane Murphy, Margaret Weaver, and Charles Hudson, and first born child, Stephen Sharp Jr. Caroline is survived by her children Brenda Elliott and Jill Lytle, grandchildren Jake Elliott, Logan Elliott, and Kaitlyn Lytle, brother Don Hatfield, and close personal friends Pam Steger, and Mandy Smallberger.
