Obituary for Charles A. Mini
Charles A. Mini 77, of Peoria passed away on Tuesday March 10, 2009 at Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton. Born in LaSalle on March 4, 1932 to Benjamin and Eleanor Schweickert Mini. He married Carol E. Weindorf in LaSalle on December 1, 1951. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Carol, sons; Mark (Debbie) of Naperville, Michael of Brentwood, TN, Paul of Peoria, daughters; Nancy (Jim) Diseipio of LaGrange Park, Ellen (Scott) Pollard and Karen Mini both of Peoria, sister Blanche Cummings of CA, brother John Mini of Chicago and his 8 grandchildren. Charles was a Corporal in the Army, stationed in Okinawa during the Korean War and worked as a Field Supervisor for Lankton, Ziegle & Terry for 35 years in Peoria, retiring in 2004. He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Peoria Heights where a memorial mass will be held on Friday March 13, at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton or to St. Thomas Catholic Church. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. is assisting the family with arrangements.
