Obituary for Christina L. Kolesar
Christina L. Kolesar, 35, of Pekin passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023, in Pekin.
She was born September 21, 1987, in Pekin.
She is survived by her children, Brooklyn Tonkin, Carter Kolesar; father, Michael (Lisa) Kolesar; mother, Sherry (Sam) Hunt; siblings, Kimberly (Jason) Zeitler, Kylie Kolesar, Tristan Kolesar, Kevin Hunt, Sam (Felicia) Hunt; nephews, Kenneth Zeitler, Micah Zeitler, Simon Zeitler; grandparents, Thomas & Mary Kolesar, Patrick Murphy, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Debbie Murphy and aunt, Julie Kolesar-Menard.
Christina graduated from Pekin Community High School.
Christina loved her family, especially her children. She loved music, singing, dancing and art. She enjoyed the outdoors. Christina was a free spirit and wild at heart.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Abts Mortuary in Pekin. Cremation will be accorded following the service.
Memorial donations may be made in the form of cash, or a check made to her sister, Kimberly Zeitler PO Box 345 Platteville, WI 53818 for the benefit of Christina’s children.
