Obituary for Christine Ann Anderson
Christine Ann Anderson passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024, peacefully in her home. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara (Stange) Cupp; her father, James J. Cupp; and her brother, James J. Cupp. She is survived by her brother, John Cupp; her sons, Eric Anderson (Caroline McCampbell) and Jason Anderson (Rodolfo Cruz-Huerta); her nieces, Sarah and Rebecca Cupp; her granddaughter, Elizabeth Anderson (Mustafa Kwara); her great granddaughter, Amelia Kwara; and her step-grandchildren Terra Pham, Brittany Pham, and JJ McCampbell.
Christine was a kind, gentle soul. As a nurse, she touched and healed many people at Pekin Memorial Hospital and Tremont Medical Clinic with genuine empathy. She donated her time and expertise to emergency ambulance services in Tremont. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, crocheting, knitting, gardening, and her cat companions. Her compassion for others, and her generosity was unmatched, and will be missed dearly.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to St. Jude in her memory.
According to her wishes, cremation rights have been accorded. Family members are planning a private celebration of her life.
