Obituary for Cindy A. Weibring

Cindy A. Weibring, 65, of Pekin, IL passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at her residence.


She was born January 2, 1959, in Poplar Bluff, MO to Lubie and Priscilla Parmalee Davis.


She married Michael J. Weibring on April 23, 1981, in Lewistown, IL; he survives. She is also survived by her children, Joseph (Amanda) Weibring, Jonathan (Jennifer) Weibring; grandchildren, Peyton Weibring, Dawn Weibring, Chad (Faith) Doyle, Tyler Weibring, Ethan Weibring, Gabe McCullough; great-grandchild, Leo Doyle; mother, Priscilla Walker; siblings, Robert Davis, Richard (Tina) Davis, Robin (Jake) Hahn, Robert (Andrea) Walker, Amy Cunningham and many nieces and nephews.


Her father, Lubie Davis; stepfather, Robert Walker Sr. and brother, Thomas Davis preceded her in death.


Cindy graduated from Forman High School in Manito, IL and worked as a preschool teacher and teacher’s aide at St. Joseph Catholic School in Pekin for many years until retiring in 2015. She loved her work.


She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin, IL.


Cindy loved her family dearly. She also loved cooking, baking, cake decorating, her students and her preschoolers.


A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Abts Mortuary in Pekin, IL. A graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. following the visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin, IL. Deacon Mark Wilder will officiate.


Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Preschool or St. Joseph Catholic School in Pekin, IL in her name.
