Obituary for Claudine M. Swanson
Claudine M. Swanson 83, of Peoria passed away on Monday June 22, 2009 at Proctor Hospital. She was born in Macedonia, IL on October 20, 1925 to Fred and Nida Gibbs Williams. She married James H. Swanson in Peoria on October 18, 1950, he preceded her in death on April 14, 1968. Her brother Roy Williams and grandson Ryan Rhodes also preceded her in death. Claudine is survived by her daughters; Nancy (Scott) Stewart of Mapleton, Trudy Rhodes of Peoria, granddaughter Taylor Swanson Stewart of Mapleton, brothers; Bill Williams of Hollywood, FL, Jess (Nadine) Isonhart of East Peoria, sisters; Mary Cassie Thompson of University City, MO, Dorothy Dunnigan of Peoria and Janet Breitbarth of Metamora. She worked as a Waitress at Shady Oaks. Cremation has been accorded and graveside services will be at Swan Lake cemetery at a later date. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. Pekin/Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements.
