Obituary for Clifford Stevenson
Clifford E. Stevenson 64, of Peoria passed away on Thursday November 5, 2009 at Methodist Medical center in Peoria. Born in Peoria on February 5, 1945 to Vernon and Norma Hines Stevenson. He married Linda Lupfer in Peoria on July 10, 1965, she survives along with his daughters Tonya (Kevin Chaney) Stevenson and Tina (Brian) Holford both of Peoria, granddaughter Jade DeLorme, grandson Kyle Chaney and great granddaughter Aaliyah Mobbs. His parents preceded him in death. Clifford worked for Brewers Distributing as a Truck Driver for 20 years, retiring in 1996 and was the former President of the Beagle Club. He was known as the “Lawnmower Man” to many and he dearly loved his family and will be sadly missed. Cremation has been accorded and private services will be held. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. Pekin/Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements.
