Obituary for Craig Sprague
To those curious about my Dad:
Craig Edward Sprague (date of birth 09/30/1958) passed away the morning of December 30th, 2013. He left behind his wife, Tania Le Sprague. They were married for 32 years. He had threee daughters, Carrie Sprague Disbro (30 years of age), Kendra Sprague Harris (28 years of age), and adopted daughter Kaylee King (6 years of age). He also had many exchange daughters that became a part of our family. He was the the son of the late James Edward Sprague, survived by his Mother, Shirley Jean Sprague, along with his brother, Brian Sprague, and sister, Kristin Shawhan. Through the years he gained an extended Chilean family... his "brother" Pancho Rojas, "sister" Momi Rojas, and "daughter/friend" Carola Rojas. He was the grandfather to 5 grandchildren: Lydia, Zachary, Zoey, Karissa, and Michael.Â
He lived a life in which he aimed to help others in any way he could. He worked at Powerton for many years then decided to go for a dream and start the Peoria Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. Due to health issues and the responsibility of raising another young child, he spent the last few years at home or doing jobs for people here and there.Â
Craig would want us to reflect upon old memories, smile, and laugh at those stories.Â
The memorial service will be held at Grace Presbyterian Church (off of Route 91) on Tuesday January 7

, 2014. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital (In Memory of Craig Sprague).
