Obituary for Dale Davis
Dale A. Davis, 82, of Bartonville passed away Monday, December 22, 2014 at his residence. He was born July 26, 1932 in Bartonville to Oren and Edna Wormer Davis. He married Joanne Bierwirth March 1, 1958 in Bartonville. She survives along with his daughter, Melinda Davis of Peoria; son, Robert Davis of Bartonville; grandchildren, Justin, Hanna, Carter; brothers, Jerry Davis of Peoria, Jan (Paula) Davis of Bartonville; sister, Beverly Gillig of Peoria and several nieces and nephews. Dale served in the U.S. Navy for four years. He worked for AT&T, retiring in 1997. He was a member of Church Of The Brethren in Peoria for 56 years. Cremation has been accorded and no services will be held. Dale’s wish would be “Do all the good you can. By all the means you can. In all the ways you can. In all the places you can.
