Obituary for Danny Donald
Danny L. Donald, 70 of Creve Coeur passed away October 26, 2015 at Heartland in Peoria. He was born February 19, 1945 in Peoria to Louis and Mary Davis Donald. He married Diane Roberts December 31, 1998 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She survives, also surviving are his daughters, Holly (Amy) Donald; Shawana (Greg) Nolan; son, Jeff Donald; grandchildren, Abby, Jake, Bailey, Jared, Hunter, Drew, Kendal, Tucker, Cole; siblings, Sue (Sonny) Vogel, Barry (Elaine) Donald, Chicken (Danny) Dibler, Squeek (Nicole) Donald and Nick (Justine) Donald and several nieces and nephews. Danny served in the U.S. Navy. He was a Captain for the Peoria Fire Department, retiring after 30 years in 2002. He loved his life, enjoyed golf, a good card game and a cold beer. He loved running for St. Jude, but most of all he loved his family and friends. Cremation has been accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, November 1, 2015 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Fraternal Order of Eagles 1704 S. East Lane in Peoria. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude or Alzheimer’s Association.
