Obituary for Darrel W. Vogel
Darrel W. Vogel, 87, of Glasford, IL passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at his residence.
He was born November 20, 1933 in Tazewell County, IL to Orville and Beatrice Ray Vogel.
He married Jo Ann Goodman November 15, 1952 in Pekin; she preceded him in death February 11, 1997. His parents and daughter-in-law, Linda Vogel also preceded him in death.
He is survived by his sons, Richard (Theresa) Vogel, James Vogel; seven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Darrel graduated from Pekin Community High school and worked as the Business Agent for Millwright Local 1051 in Lincoln, IL. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Eagles Club and he raised racing pigeons. He was also a member at Congregational United Church in Pekin.
Private family services will be held April 14, 2021 with public graveside services at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin, IL at 11:30 a.m. following proper COVID protocol.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Congregational United Church of Pekin, 2200 Willow Street, Pekin, IL 61554
