Obituary for David A. Prozzo Sr.
David A. Prozzo Sr., 56, of Pekin passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
He was born July 27, 1967, in Peoria.
He is survived by his mother, Alice (Jesus) Franco; sons, Nicholas Prozzo, David A. Prozzo Jr.; grandchildren, Payton Brady, Matthew Harr, Dillon Harr; brothers, John (Stephanie Wilson) Prozzo, Paul (Kim Roberts) Franco, Roger (Taylor Harty) Franco; half-sister, Andrea Prozzo; half-brother, Jeff Rush and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Tabitha Barnes; his grandparents; uncle, David Wood and aunt, Anna Hopkins.
David graduated from East Peoria High School in 1985 and worked as a carpenter, retiring in 2019.
He loved his family and spending time with them. He also loved joking around, fishing and gaming.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2023, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Abts Mortuary 905 S. 5th Street, Pekin, IL 61554. Cremation will be accorded following the service.
