Obituary for Deann Cassidy
Deann Cassidy, 46, of Delavan, IL peacefully lost her battle with breast cancer on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Home. She was born on May 23, 1971 in Pekin to Vickie Cassidy and Allen Sonderman. She is survived by her mom, Vickie Cassidy (Munson); dad, Lloyd Cassidy; daughter, Kimberlee Heinrich (Burgess); grandson, Braxtin Heinrich; daughter, Toshia Miller (Burgess); step-daughter and children, Ruth Grindle (Burgess), Mariska Grindle, Lexington Grindle; step-son and granddaughter, Charles Burgess Jr., Zoe Stefanakos; sister, Lisa Wald (Munson) and fiancé, Justin Brooks. She was preceded in death by her father, Allen Ray Sonderman. She attended Capital Area School of Practical Nursing in Springfield, IL. Deann loved being a nurse and caring for others. She enjoyed family cookouts, spending time with her grandson, shooting, fishing, and watching the Packers play football. She was always there when anyone needed her. She always had great motherly advice. She truly was an incredible woman and will be greatly missed. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
