Obituary for Delvera Collins
Delvera Collins 57, of Peoria passed away on February 18, 2010 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. Born in Peoria on August 19, 1952 to Walter and Virgie Watkins Collins who preceded her in death. She is survived by her son Aaron Lateaf Hayden, sisters: Yvonne Collins and Debra Young, nephews: Justin and Jared Collins, niece Nekia Young all of Peoria and brothers: Robert Young of NC and Chris Young of Peoria. Delvera was a Assistant Coordinator at Common Place for 20 plus years and dedicated her life to helping her community. She was also a member of Ward Chapel AME Church, 511 Richard Allen Drive, Peoria where a memorial service will be held on Saturday February 27, at 11 a.m. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. Pekin/Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements.
