Obituary for Dennis Lowder
Dennis L. Lowder, 62, of Spring Bay, IL passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. He was born March 10, 1951 in Canton, IL to Willard and Kathleen Chioni Lowder. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Willard Lowder Jr., Richard Lowder and sister, Kathy Sue Delaune. He is survived by his brother, John (Lisa) Lowder of Norcross, GA; sister, Diane (Randy) Prather of Hilton Head, SC; sister-in-law, Linda Lowder of Lawrenceville, GA and numerous nieces and nephews. Dennis served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He enjoyed hanging out at Carrigan’s Pub in East Peoria, IL. He was a huge “Harley Rider” and rode and attended many charity events. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held Sunday, February 23, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Carrigan’s Pub 5506 N. Main Street, East Peoria, IL 61611. Memorials can be made at Carrigan’s Pub to help the family with expenses.
