Obituary for Donna Smith
Donna Rae Smith, 70, of Pekin, IL passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria, IL. She was born October 9, 1944 in Pekin, IL to James E. and Donna L. Reed Cornwell Sr. Her parents; brother, James E. Cornwell Jr. and great-grandson, Jandon Lee Eugean Hasty preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister, Kathleen Cornwell of Pekin, IL; children, Glenda Craig of Pekin, IL, James Hasty of Heyworth, IL, Kimberly Nix of Heyworth, IL, Donna Hasty of Bloomington, IL; 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Donna was a life member of Pekin Amvets Post 235 and President of Women’s Auxiliary, Pekin Amvets. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Pekin Amvets Post 235. Memorials may be made to the family at Bank of America c/o Glenda Craig.
