Obituary for Donna Wheeler
Donna Faye Wheeler, 82, of Pekin, IL passed on January 28, 2017 in Pekin, IL. Donna was born on May 24, 1934 in McCrory, AR to Joe and Pauline James. She married Aden Wheeler of Wynne, AR on January 20, 1952 before setting roots in East Peoria, IL to raise their family. He preceded her in death. Donna is survived by her son, Aden Wheeler Jr. of East Peoria, IL; her daughter, Deanna (Randy) Giddens of Creve Coeur, IL and her sister, Dola Jean. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Christopher (Viola) Wheeler, Rachel (Will) Crisler, Phillip (Shonda) Wheeler, Randy (Kelly) Giddens Jr. and five great-grandchildren. Donna enjoyed spending time with her family and gardening in her strawberry patch every summer. She will be missed by friends and family for being a loving and caring person. Donna will be buried at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin, IL at a graveside service on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 2p.m. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate in her name.
