Obituary for Dorothy Bos
Dorothy Lucile Bos, 98, of Peoria passed away at 2:15 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2016 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. She was born in a country home in North Parma, Michigan on September 21, 1917 to Oswald and Mildred (Ferguson) Klein. She attended a one room school house through 5th grade graduating from Parma High School. She is survived by her nephew, George (Alice) Klein of Connecticut; three grandnieces and one great-grandnephew. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Eugene; sister-in-law, Lois and niece, Jaqueline Klein. She married Arthur Bos on May 19, 1979. He preceded her in death on May 26, 1998 leaving her with three loving step-daughters, Marlene Stoops, Karen Kerr (deceased), Linda Selburg and many step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Dorothy was employed by Jackson County Michigan Controllers Office until she retired. The family would like to thank Morton Terrace and OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home for the loving care they gave her. The family will have a private service. Cremation will be accorded by the Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. Pekin/Peoria. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home.
