Obituary for Dorothy Brubaker
Dorothy M. Brubaker, 94, of Peoria, IL passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at her residence. She was born August 18, 1920 in Farmington, IL to Walter and Jeanette Davies Vincent. She married H. Allen Brubaker in November 28, 1943 in Peoria, IL. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her sons, Thomas A. Brubaker of Peoria, IL, Frederick A. (Barbara) Brubaker Sr. of Peoria, IL; grandson, Frederick A. (Bing) Brubaker Jr. of Essex Junction, VT and great-granddaughter, Beatrice T. Brubaker. Dorothy was a member of First Federated Church in Peoria, IL where she served as a Deacon for many years. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held at her church on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. with visitation at 9 a.m. at the church. Memorials may be made to the church or to a charity of the donor’s choice in her name.
