Obituary for Dorothy Keefner
Dorothy Magdalena Keefner 89, of East Peoria, IL formally of Chicago, Harvey, Beecher, Steger and Peoria, IL passed away Sunday May 15, 2011 at her residence. She was born January 29, 1922 in Chicago to Lawrence and Magdalena Perchi Raimann. She married Robert W. Keefner July 2, 1949 in Harvey, IL. He preceded her in death August 26, 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother; Andrew Raimann, sister; Mayrose Cokeley and daughter-in-law; Nena Jo Keefner. She is survived by her sons; William (Lynn) Keefner, Joseph (Becky) Keefner, grandchildren; Emily (Jamie) Shilevinatz, Adam (Gretchen) Keefner, Erika Keefner, Aaron Keefner, and great-grandchildren; Makenna, Killian and Jax Shilevinatz and Rachel Keefner. Dorothy worked as a bookkeeper for Whiting Corporation. Cremation has been accorded and private services will be held at a later date. Internment will be at Holy Sepulcher Catholic Cemetery in Alsip, IL
