Obituary for Edward Dunn
Edward Joseph Dunn, 66, of West Peoria passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. He was born in Peoria on December 12, 1946 to Edward and Bertha Moke Dunn. He married Eileen Stear on August 29, 1992, she survives. He is also survived by his sister, Connie (Jim) Barr of Peoria; children, Diane (Jeff) Brown of Lewistown, Tim Stear of Bellevue, Chrissy (Craig) Stafford of Lake Camelot-Mapleton, Tammy Scharp of East Peoria, Andrea (Tom) Beckman of Bartonville and Marnie Davis of Groveland. His parents and son, Shane Dunn preceded him in death. Joe had several grandkids that he loved and enjoyed spending time with, Jake and Tyler Ewalt, Trevor Brown, Sara and Kyle Stear, Carsyn and Camryn Stafford, Shelby, Tyler and Taylor Scharp, Zeke, Zac and Tommi Beckman, Brittany Dunn, Mason Chance and Caden and Addison Davis; great-grandson, Zander Ewalt. He is also survived by his best friend and companion his lab, Rebel. Joe enjoyed all the holiday’s especially Christmas time. That’s the time he spent with all his family. His favorite pastime was being at home spending time with his family. On the weekends he enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his friends at the camp grounds. Joe retired as a truck driver from Mid-State Coal after 22 years and was a member of the Eagle Lodge. Cremation has been accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2013 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Clubhouse at Lake Camelot. In lieu of flowers memorials contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association in his name.
