Obituary for Eleanor DeYoung
Eleanor B. DeYoung, 76, of Peoria passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter Saturday, March 15, 2014. She was born on February 1, 1938. Her parents Clarence and Oda Janssen. She married Franklin D. DeYoung on August 24, 1955. She is survived by her three children, Frank (Cheryl) DeYoung of Bartonville, IL, Debra (Randy) Krus of Peoria, IL, Daniel DeYoung (unknown address); five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Donald (Carmen) Hodge of Peoria, IL; niece, Michelle (Bob) Allan of North Carolina; one great-niece and one great-nephew. She loved crafting, sewing, machine embroidery and decorating her house, but most of all loved her family and being with them especially loved being with her grandchildren. Cremation has been accorded and per her wishes no services will be held.
