Obituary for Elmer Pierson
Elmer Theodore Pierson 96, of Peoria Heights passed away on March 26, 2010 at his residence. Born in Dunlap to Joseph and Ellen Pierson on October 3, 1913. He is survived by his children: Sandra Pillischafske of Peoria Heights, Larry Pierson of Illinois and Jim (Lacy) Pierson of Arizona, grandchildren: Kristen, Wayne, Merritt, Amanda, Ted, Natalie, Chris and Timothy, 6 great grandchildren and his long time companion of 50 years, Charlene Knight of Peoria and her children George Knight and Carol Krosse. His parents, 5 brothers and son Jack Pierson preceded him in death. Elmer was a Supervisor at Caterpillar for 38 years and helped everyone who needed it. Cremation has been accorded and a dual memorial service will be held for Elmer and his good friend Gertrude Harris at the Rock Church, 1081 Upper Spring Bay Rd. East Peoria to celebrate their lives on Sunday April 18
