Obituary for Elwanda Leach
Elwanda D. Leach 77, of West Peoria passed away on Tuesday April 20, 2010 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Born in Blytheville, AR on July 8, 1932 to Robert and Edith Hastings Lineberry. She married John T. Leach in Corrinth, MS on November 25, 1948. He preceded her in death on May 18, 1993. Her parents and her sister also preceded her in death. Elwanda is survived by her children: Donna Holt and Judy (Jim) Graham both of Peoria, Tony Leach of West Peoria and grandchildren: Joshua Graham of Peoria and Jayme (Chris) Baumann of Peoria Heights. Elwanda worked for 23 years as the Kitchen Supervisor at St. Joseph Home in West Peoria, retiring in 1992 and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Peoria. Private family services will be held with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Peoria. Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in her name.
