Obituary for Ernie Brubaker
Ernie D. Brubaker 67, of East Peoria passed away on Tuesday May 4, 2010 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born in Peoria on June 28, 1942 to Alvin and Viola Russel Brubaker. He is survived by his son Scott (Traci) Brubaker of East Tawas, MI, step-children: Michelle (Barry) Evans of Washington, Troy (Shannon) Dobbelaire of East Peoria, brother Bernie (Robin) Harrison of South Pekin, 2 nephews, 9 grandchildren and Pat Brubaker of East Peoria. His grandparents, parents, brother Randy Harrison and his step-father who raised him preceded him in death. Ernie served in the Army and worked at Pabst Brewery in Peoria Heights for 25 years and Brubaker Trucking in East Peoria for 15 years, retiring in 2005. Cremation has been accorded and no services will be held. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association of Illinois in Ernie’s name.
