Obituary for Florence Stephens
Florence E. Stephens, 86, of Peoria beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Friday, January 9, 2015 in Peoria, IL. She was born January 31, 1928 to Stella and William Weir. She married John M. Stephens on August 26, 1950 in Peoria. She was employed by the Salvation Army and retired at the age of 82 after over 20 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Morton Stephens; daughter, Lori Stephens and son, John Michael Stephens. She is survived by her daughters, Cindy (Roger) Ramsey, Susan Pilon, Lisa (Doug) Addler, Leslie (Steve) Caruso; son, Larry (Leigh Ann) Stephens; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Cremation has been accorded and private family services will be held at a later date.
