Frances C. Krabbe, 82, of Pekin passed away on Monday October 8

2012 at her home. Born in Chicago on August 22, 1930 to Vincent and Antonina Indelicato Mandera. She married David C. Krabbe in Fox Lake, IL on June 16, 1956, he survives along with their daughter Judith (David) Ganion of Morton, granddaughter Caitlyn Nievar of Pekin, 3 step-grandchildren: Nicholas (Ashley) Ganion of Pekin, Joshua (Chelsea) Ganion of Pekin, Megan Ganion of Washington, sisters: Josephine Strack of Pleasant Prairie, WI, Gloria Longo of Ridgecrest, CA, 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her parents and 3 brothers preceded her in death. Frances was a homemaker, a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to travel with family and one of her greatest pastimes was reading. She was a volunteer at St. Jude Orphanage in Nevada and a follower of Mother Cabrini and Mother Teresa. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be held on Thursday October 11

at 10 a.m. Father Michael Andrejek will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin. Visitation will be Wednesday at Abts Mortuary from 5 to 7 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Pekin Public Library or St. Joseph Catholic Church.
