Obituary for Frances Maxine Cheatham
Frances Maxine Cheatham, 91, of Peoria passed away Friday, October 7, 2016 at UnityPoint Health Methodist ER in Peoria. She was born November 25, 1924 in Roseau, MN to Ernest and Florence Waldron Harn. She married Herman Berry Cheatham Sr. on October 18, 1947 in Peoria; he preceded her in death October 2, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother and one sister. She is survived by her daughters, Catherine (Earnest) Hemmerlein, Tonya Hecht, Linda Cheatham, Vickie Flaugher, Nina (James) Eggleston, Pauline Bressler, Bonnie Hubbard, Nancy Chapai; son, Herman (Audrey) Cheatham Jr.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Stanley (Nancy) Harn; ex son-in-laws, Dan Hecht and Dennis McWhirter. She enjoyed birds, gardening, traveling and camping. She loved her family and will be greatly missed. Per her wishes cremation has been accorded and a graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. Pastor Charles Houston will officiate.
