Obituary for Frances Woodward
Frances L. Woodward 98, of Pekin passed away on Saturday December 17, 2011 at home. She was born in Sand Prairie Twp, IL on September 24, 1913 to Charles and Ida Hoffman Birkmeier. She married Charles Woodward who passed away in 1963. She is also preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Surviving is her twin sister Clara Pech of Pekin and several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. She was a loving and devoted caretaker to several generations of her family. Frances was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin where a funeral mass will be held on Wednesday December 21, 2011 at 10 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Msgr. Timothy Nolan will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
