Obituary for Frank Smith
Frank Raymond Smith, 75, of Pekin passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at his residence. He was born November 25, 1941 in San Francisco, CA to Frank W. and Dorothy Young Smith. He married Sandra Sue Carlton October 24, 1964 in Peoria; she preceded him in death October 21, 2007. His parents; stepmother, Betty Ann Smith; half-brother, Steven; step-brother, Randall Smith also preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter, Becky (Jason) Jester; grandchildren, Christian, Dominick, Gabriel “Gabe”; brothers, Wesley (Mary Jane) Smith, Ross (Ruth Ann Wildman) Smith, step-brother; Thomas (Holly) Smith; half-brother, Neal (Roselieta) Smith; step-sister, Denise Smith; and many nieces and nephews. Frank worked at Keystone for many years; retiring in 2004. He loved his family, fishing, metal detecting, instant lottery tickets, watching his game shows/fishing/pro wrestling and he was a very loyal Cubs fan. Per his wishes cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date.
