Obituary for Frank Vach
Frank Lumir Vach, age 69, of Washington left this world on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 he was at his home surrounded by his family and loved ones. Today we lost a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. Heaven gained an angel, a man of dignity, patience, and love. We all love you and we will not say goodbye, only we will be together again. Rest in the arms of Jesus. He is survived by his wife, Linda Vach (A Groovy Kinda Love); children, Aaron (Caitlin) Greenwood of Washington, Tara (Ralph) Daringer of Washington, Deana (Jim) Burke of McKinney, TX and Franklin “Kasey” Vach at home. He loved and was loved by seven grandchildren, Austin, Breanna, Alysa, Katie, Joel, Derek and Taylor and one great-granddaughter, Mila. An infant daughter preceded him in death. Frank was a U.S. Veteran serving 3 ½ years in the U.S. Army. Frank was employed by Caterpillar Tractor Co. for 30 years; retiring in 2001. A private celebration of Frank’s life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to his family for Kasey Vach’s educational fund, or the Illinois Cancer Care of Peoria.
