Obituary for Gary Bachman
Gary Lee Bachman, 68, of Morton, formerly of Washington was called to heaven on Nov. 12, 2015 at 1:37 a.m. He was born Jan. 16th 1947. His mother and father preceded him in death. He graduated from Washington High School. He married Sharon Barlow in 1970 and they were married 45 years. Surviving are his wife; daughters, Sherri (Mark) Smith of Washington, Shelly (Rick) Mclaughlin of Creve Coeur; grandchildren, Kenny and Lynnette Smith, Shawn and Shaylan Wind; great grandchildren, Mason, Sa’Vona, Phoenyx, Kency, Easton and twins on the way and brothers, John, Steve, Rodney and Joe and sister, Joann. He worked at Uftrings in Washington for 46 years. He volunteered at the Pleasantvalley Food Pantry in Sunnyland for several years and loved to spend time with his family, friends and grandchildren. Cremation has been accorded and a Celebration of life will be held on Sunday Nov. 22 from 2 to 7 p.m. at Five Points in Washington.
