Obituary for Gene A. Coe
Gene A. Coe 85 of Princeville passed away on June 16, 2016 in Peoria. Born to William and Lillian Tink Coe in Springfield, IL on July 21, 1930. He married Carol J. Roll on July 6, 1969 in Berrien Spring, MI. Surviving are his wife Carol, one sister Ruth (Jay) Swaringen of Peoria and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother William. Gene was a Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps from Oct 1950 to Oct 1953 and retired from Cilco in 1990 after 36 years of service in the Underground Cable Department. Cremation has been accorded and private burial of his cremains will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield Memorials may be made to the Dunlap Volunteer Fire Department of P.A.W.S
