Obituary for Glenda J Rempala
Glenda J. Rempala 65, of Peoria Heights passed away on Thursday February 4, 2010 at Proctor Hospital E.R. She was born on October 15, 1944 in East Prairie, MO to Willis K. and Lucy Pruitt Baker. Glenda was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughter: Kristina Gamez of Washington, son: Tracy (Toni) Yard of Port Charlotte, FL, grandchildren: Tiana, Nathan, James, Dakotah, Jacklynne, brother: Ken (Lynn) Baker of East Peoria, sisters: Sandy (Jack) Glatz of Lincoln, IL, Gina (Rich) Krulac of Peoria, nieces and nephews and many friends. Glenda never knew a stranger. She was a secretary for the City of Peoria for 20 years. She was the National Easter Seal Poster Child in 1957, she was also the Polio Poster Child in 1954. Her laugh was contagious and will be missed forever. Glenda loved animals and Elvis Presley. She attended Harvest Bible Chapel in East Peoria. Cremation has been accorded. The family will receive friends Sunday February 28
