Obituary for Glenn Lane
Glenn “Lefty” Lane, 85, of Peoria passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born August 3, 1927 in Princeton, IN to Luther and Irene Summers Lane. He married Juanita Moehring, she preceded him in death March 24, 2005. He was also preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his son, Dale (Brenda) Pemble of East Peoria; granddaughters, Miranda Pemble of East Peoria and Mariah Pemble of East Peoria; several cousins and his beloved dog, Buster. Glenn served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He worked as an Iron Worker for Local 112. He was an avid reader. Cremation has been accorded and burial will be held at Springdale Cemetery in Peoria at a later date. Memorials may be made to TAPS in his name.
